Integrated GPU Rendering for SketchUp
Allura, from Render Plus, seamlessly integrates NVIDIA Iray+ into SketchUp to create stunning rendering from your SketchUp models. Use your SketchUp materials by quickly assigning an Iray+ Base material to the a material. Also, place materials from the IRay+ Material Library directly into SketchUp to utilize their predefined rendering settings . Use our predefined lights, or create a light from any geometry, for interior or nighttime scenes.
Iray+’s fast, Interactive mode, lets you preview your rendering quickly with, real time navigation. Then switch to PhotoRealistic mode for higher quality, final renderings. Allura automatically starts with the current SketchUp view then you can use Interactive mode to orbit and zoom you view to get just the rendering you want.
All rendering settings are stored directly in SketchUp which makes it easy to re-render your model after making changes, or use the same rendering settings for other models.
NVIDIA Iray is a physically based 3D renderer which uses the power of your GPU – Graphics Processor to perform the rendering. Iray is physically based in that it relies on computing light paths. Quite simply, most of the pretty settings are automatic: E.g., Indirect illumination, color bleeding, reflections, refractions, soft shadows, blurry reflections, reflective and refractive caustics, volume scattering, etc. You just assign materials, add lights, and click render. All the rest pretty much takes care of itself.

What is NVIDIA Iray+?
NVIDIA Iray+ is a physically based 3D renderer which uses the power of your GPU – Graphics Processor – to perform the rendering. Iray+ is quickly computes light paths and reflections.
Quite simply, most of the rendering settings are automatic: E.g., Indirect illumination, reflections, refractions, soft shadows, blurry reflections, reflective and refractive caustics, etc.
You just assign material properties in SketchUp by right clicking on the material, and click render. All the rest pretty much takes care of itself.
Your SketchUp materials will automatically work with Allura. Allura gets the color, texture, transparency, etc. directly from SketchUp.
Then you add special rendering properties, such as reflection, or refraction by selecting one of our Material Presets. Each of the Presets selects a base material type, and presets values for a good rendering of the material. You can then change the amount of reflection, Sharpness, or Index of Refraction to find tune the materials.
