New Phase Design - Case Study
Clients Love the Photorealistic Images Produced by IRender nXt
For this case study we talk to Gerald Blake, President of New Phase Design (NPD). It was Gerald’s dream from age 10 to become an architect after becoming fascinated with Mike Brady’s drafting equipment on the Brady Bunch. He’s now been working in the sector for over 30 years.
Hello Gerald, please tell us about your business and you.
I am a licensed architect and President of New Phase Design located in Rockland, Massachusetts. We specialize in corporate and retail banking design.
When did you start using SketchUp and IRender nXt? Why did you choose IRender?
I started using IRender nXt about three years ago, when I started NPD. We were outsourcing all of our 3D work. We used DataCAD as our drawing platform and its 3D capabilities are not very strong. I had used SketchUp in the past and started to re-learn the program. I found IRender and was very impressed how easy it was to interface.
What do you like about IRender nXt?
The best part for us is with very little knowledge we can produce photorealistic images that our clients really respond to.
What elements do you pay most attention to when rendering?
Finishes, lighting and details, both interior and exterior.
Please give us some background on a recent project you’ve done for which you’ve produced renderings using IRender nXt.
We do mostly banking projects, mostly interior renovations, but we also do some ground up projects. Here are a few renderings from some of our projects.
Do you receive any feedback on your renderings?
Yes, our clients really love the images we are able to produce.
Thank you, Gerald! It’s great to hear how the photorealistic renderings you produce using IRender nXt enable you to generate a high level of engagement with your clients.
Would you like us to profile one of your projects?
Whether you’re a rendering novice or a master, it’s always interesting to see what you’re rendering with any of our renderers (IRender nXt, IRender SU, ArielVision, nXtRender, AccuRender)! Email Render Plus Support Email and we’ll contact you.
