The essential features that you need for great renderings are included in ArielVision:

  • Natural and artificial lighting
  • Reflections
  • Add Background Images
  • Realistic glass
  • State-of-the-art photorealistic rendering engine
  • Fully integrated with Trimble SketchUp

By providing just the rendering features you need ArielVision makes it easier to learn to create photorealistic Renderings than it was to learn to build SketchUp models

  • Natural Lighting values are Preset for You
  • Material Finises are easy to set
  • Predefined Materials include preset finish options

ArielVision uses the SketchUp sun and sky, artificial lights, transparency, and reflections to create Photorealistic renderings from SketchUp models at an affordable price.

ArielVision has easy to learn dialogs to set attributes like reflections on SketchUp materials and includes a Wizard to create many commonly used light fixtures. It’s easy to create high quality renderings with a single click and no changes to the SketchUp model.

ArielVision is an ideal combination of high-quality rendering features with a user interface that is easy to learn and use.

This interior scene was created by downloading a vanity, mirror and shower stall from the 3D Warehouse. Once the model was loaded in SketchUp we just used right-clicks on materials to set reflections, and once that was done we placed ceiling lights. This rendering took less than 1 minute to generate with ArielVision.

Fully Integrated into SketchUp

All render settings – reflection, lights, and others – are stored in your SketchUp model and the rendering is created with one click on the ArielVision Toolbar. You can return to the model and re-render it without redefining materials and lights, everything is stored in the SketchUp model.

Quick Overview (How it works)

ArielVision retrieves rendering attributes directly from SketchUp models. Color, material, and transparency are set in SketchUp and used for the rendering. Reflection settings are assigned to materials by right-clicking on any surface with an assigned material, then setting the reflection values for intensity and sharpness. With ArielVision you are not required to drill down into groups and components, ArielVision will focus on the material you click.

ArielVision will render the scene using the specified number of rendering passes. With each rendering pass the quality of the rendering will improve. While you are learning, you may want to limit the number of passes, then as you develop your rendering skills, increase the number of passes to improve the rendering quality.

Render your SketchUp model at any resolution. Be aware however that high resolution images take more time to finish. ArielVision is set by default to render a medium resolution image, to complete renderings more quickly. Adjust the image resolution to produce larger renderings.

ArielVision adds material properties and render settings directly to the SketchUp model. One click is all that is necessary to generate a rendering.

Additional settings include High Dynamic Range (HDR) images for lighting and backgrounds.
