William - Arrived at Cambridge, MA 1632 in 'Lion' from London with four children. Freeman Nov. 6, 1632, moving to Hartford, CT 1636. His name appears on Hartford's Founders Monument. He was the son of William Wadsworth and Elizabeth Stone.
Capt. Joseph married Elizabeth Talcott. Elizabeth was born on 21 Feb 1656 in Hartford, Ct.. She was the daughter of Lt. Col. John Talcott and Helena Wakeman. She died on 26 Oct 1710 in Hartford, Ct. . (Sources: - 1) Capt. Joseph - Lucius Barnes Barbour writes that Joseph was The Hero of the Charter - a man of prominence, and some turbulence of character."

Ichabod Wadsworth - was born in 1688 in Hartford, Ct. and died on 5 May 1778 in Hartford, Ct. .
He was the son of Capt. Joseph Wadsworth and Elizabeth Talcott.
Ichabod married Sarah Smith. She is the daughter of Arthur Smith. Ichabod - A Part of the Early Marriages, Births, and Baptisms, in Hartford, Ct., from Record. Wadsworth Ichabod, m. Sarah Smith, Dec. 21, 1720. Catalogue of the Names of the First Puritan Settlers of Connecticut. (Continued.) Hon. William Wadsworth's Family, of Hartford, 1636. Wadsworth, Ichabod, son of Capt. Joseph, sen'r., and grandson of William, sen'r., of Hartford, m. Sarah Smith, Dec. 21, 1720. He had children, Elisha b. Sept. 21, 1721; Elihu, Hezekiah and a daughter, who m. William Whiting, of W. Hartford; another daughter m. Richard Goodman, of W. Hartford, the father of Richard late deceased. Catalogue of the Names of the First Puritan Settlers of Connecticut. (Continued.) Hon. William Wadsworth's Family, of Hartford, 1636. Hezekiah, son of Ichabod, m. Miss Seymour, of Hartford, and had sons, Jonathan and Hezekiah, and a daughter, who m. Moses Filley, of Windsor. Hezekiah d. in New York during the war of the Revolution, about 1776. The 60 acres of wood land west of mill river, near the Simsbury road from Hartford, given by Capt. Joseph to his son Ichabod, yet remains in the Wadsworth family. Ichabod d. May 5, 1778, aged about 90 years, and is now distinctly recollected by Mr. Jonathan Olcott, of Hartford, who is 90 years old.
