Henry Tilley - was born about 1465 and died on 1 Sep 1520 . Henry married Johan. Henry - The TILLEY family came from England, on the Mayflower, with the HOWLAND family. John Tilley, a great-great grandchild of Henry, and his daughter Elizabeth, who married John Howland, and his wife Joan, were three of the passengers on he Mayflower in 1620 and settled in Plymouth, Mass. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Thomas Tilley was born in 1490 in Henlow England and died on 21 Aug 1556 . See #2. below.

2.	Thomas Tilley - was born in 1490 in Henlow England and died on 21 Aug 1556 . He was the son of Henry Tilley. Thomas married Margaret. Margaret was chr. in 1556. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  William Tilley was born about 1515 and died on 21 Jan 1578 in Henlow England . See #3. below.

3.	William Tilley - was born about 1515 and died on 21 Jan 1578 in Henlow England . He was the son of Thomas Tilley. William married Agnes. William - occupation: Husbandman - Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Robert Tilley was born in 1540 and died Feb 1611/1612 in Henlow England . See #4. below.

Robert Tilley - was born in 1540 and died Feb 1611/1612 in Henlow England . He was the son of William Tilley. Robert married Elizabeth in 1570 in Henlow England. Robert - occupation: Yeoman - Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  John Tilley was chr. on 19 Dec 1571 and died in 1621 in Plymouth, Mass . See #5. below.

John Tilley - was chr. on 19 Dec 1571 and died in 1621 in Plymouth, Mass . He was the son of Robert Tilley. John married Joan Hurst on 20 Sep 1596 in Henlow England. Joan was born about 1570. Joan - had a daughter Joan Rogers by her first marriage, bp. 26 May 1594, Henlow, Bedford, England. Joan married Edward Hawkins, probably a brother of her half-brother Robert's wife Mary Hawkins.   Then John married Bridget van der Velde. Bridget was born about 1588 in Holland, prob. Leyden.. She died on 10/11 Jan 1621 in Plymouth, Mass. . John - came to America on the Mayflower, with his wife and daughter Elizabeth. It is unclear which wife, Bridget Van Der Velde or Joan Hurst was the one who came with him and/or the mother of Elizabeth Tilley.   About half of the Pilgrims on the Mayflower died during the first, hard winter. Both John and his wife died that year (1621) Children with Joan Hurst (Quick Family Chart) i.  Elizabeth Tilley was born about 1604 in Scroobay, Nottingham, England and died on 21 Dec 1687 in Swanzey, Bristol Co., Mass. and was buried in Brown lot, Little Neck, Riverside, Ri. . Elizabeth married John Howland on 4 Aug 1623 in Plymouth, Mass.. John was born about 1592. He was the son of Henry Howland and Anne-Margaret Aires. He died on 23 Feb 1673 in Plymouth, Mass. . Elizabeth - came to America on the Mayflower with her parents and future husband. See Howland family for children.
