Count Giselbert of the Moselle - also known as: Maasgau - was born about 0830, lived in Moselle, Austrasia and died about 0892 . Count Giselbert married Duchess Ermengarde of the Moselle in 0846. Duchess Ermengarde was born about 0832 in Alsace-Lorraine. She is the daughter of Emperor Lothaire I of Roman Empire and Countess Ermengarde of Tours. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Duke Rainer I de Lorraine was born in 0860, lived in France and died in 0916 . See #2. below.

Duke Rainer I de Lorraine - also known as: Regnier - was born in 0860, lived in France and died in 0916 . He was the son of Count Giselbert of the Moselle and Duchess Ermengarde of the Moselle. Duke Rainer married Alberade de Lorraine. Alberade was born about 0930, lived in Hainault, Holland. She was the daughter of Duke Gilbert de Lorraine and Queen Gerberge of France. She died on 15 Mar 0973 .   Then Duke Rainer married Hersent de Lorraine in 0869. Hersent was born about 0865, lived in Lorraine, France. She is the daughter of King Heinrich I "The Fowler" of the Germans and Countess Matilda of Ringelheim. Children with Alberade de Lorraine (Quick Family Chart) i.  Count Rainer II of Hainault was born about 0892, lived in Lorraine, France. Count Rainer married Alice Burgundy. Alice was born about 0903, lived in France. She is the daughter of King Rudolph "the Justicar" de Bourgogne and Princess Adelheid de Bourgogne. Children with Hersent de Lorraine (Quick Family Chart) ii.  Duke Gilbert de Lorraine was born about 0890, lived in Reims, Lorraine, France and died on 2 Oct 0939 in Andernach, Rhineland, Prussia . Duke Gilbert de Lorraine - was born about 0890, lived in Reims, Lorraine, France and died on 2 Oct 0939 in Andernach, Rhineland, Prussia . He was the son of Duke Rainer I de Lorraine and Hersent de Lorraine. Duke Gilbert married Queen Gerberge of France in 0929. Queen Gerberge was born in 0913/0914 in Nordhause, Saxony, Prussia. She was the daughter of King Heinrich I "The Fowler" of the Germans and Countess Matilda of Ringelheim. She died on 5 May 0984 in Reims, Champagne . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Alberade de Lorraine was born about 0930, lived in Hainault, Holland and died on 15 Mar 0973 . ii.  Gelberga de Lorraine was born about 0925. Gelberga married Albert I "the Pious" de Vermandois. Albert was born about 0925. He was the son of Count Herbert II de Vermandois and Princess Hildebrante of France. He died on 9 Sep 0987/0988 . Alberade de Lorraine - was born about 0930, lived in Hainault, Holland and died on 15 Mar 0973 . She was the daughter of Duke Gilbert de Lorraine and Queen Gerberge of France. Alberade married Raimond Renaud Roucy about 0945. Raimond was born about 0921, lived in Roucy, Aisne, France. He died on 15 Mar 0973 .   Then Alberade married Renaud de Roucy about 0945 in France. Renaud was born about 0931, lived in Rheims, Marne, France. He died on 15 Mar 0973 .   Then Alberade married Duke Rainer I de Lorraine. Duke Rainer was born in 0860, lived in France. He was the son of Count Giselbert of the Moselle and Duchess Ermengarde of the Moselle. He died in 0916 . Children with Raimond Renaud Roucy See Roucy family for children.
