Duke Herman Billung - was born about 0935, lived in Saxony and died in 0973 . He was the son of Count Billung of Stubenskorn. Duke Herman married Hildegard of Westerburg. Hildegard was born about 0935, lived in Saxony, Germany. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Princess Mathilde of Saxony was born about 0958, lived in Saxony and died on 25 May 1008 . ii.  Duke Bernard I of Saxony was born before 0976 in Stade, Hannover, Germany and died on 9 Feb 1011 . Princess Mathilde of Saxony - was born about 0958, lived in Saxony and died on 25 May 1008 . She was the daughter of Duke Herman Billung and Hildegard of Westerburg. Princess Mathilde married Count Badouin III of Flanders before 0960. Count Badouin was born about 0933, lived in Flandres. He was the son of Count Arnulph I of Flanders and Adaele de Vermandois. He died on 1 Nov 0962 .   Then Princess Mathilde married Godfrey "the old" of Verdun after 0962. Godfrey was born in 0930/0935. He was the son of Count Gozelin of Biggau and Uda of Metz. He died after 3 Sep 1005 . Godfrey - was Count in Bidgau in the Methingau and of Verdun, Marquis of Antwerp and Eenam. Children with Count Badouin III of Flanders See Liderie family for children. Duke Bernard I of Saxony - also known as: Benno - was born before 0976 in Stade, Hannover, Germany and died on 9 Feb 1011 . He was the son of Duke Herman Billung and Hildegard of Westerburg. Duke Bernard married Countess Hildegarde of Stade. Countess Hildegarde was born about 0978 in Stade, Hannover, Germany. She was the daughter of Count Heinrich I of Stade and Countess Judith of the Wetterau. She died on 3 Oct 1011 . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Duke Bernard II of Saxony was born about 0995, lived in Saxony, Germany and died on 29 Jun 1059 . See #5. below.

Duke Bernard II of Saxony - was born about 0995, lived in Saxony, Germany and died on 29 Jun 1059 . He was the son of Duke Bernard I of Saxony and Countess Hildegarde of Stade. Duke Bernard married Eilika Margaravine of Schweinfurt about 1020. Eilika was born in 0987, lived in Schweinfurt, Unterfranken, Bavaria. She was the daughter of Heinrich Margrave of The Nordgau & Schweinfurt and Countess Gerbega of Swabia. She died in 1059 . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Ide (Relinde) of Saxony was born about 1045 and died on 31 Jul 1102 . Ide married Count Albert III de Namur. Count Albert was born about 1027. He is the son of Albert II de Namur and Regelindis de Lorraine. See de Namur family for children. ii.  Princess Gertrud Of Saxony was born about 1028, lived in Schweinfurt, Unterfranken, Bavaria and died on 4 Aug 1113 . Princess Gertrud married Count Floris I of Holland about 1050. Count Floris was born about 1017, lived in Vlaardingen, Zuid, Holland, Netherlands. He was the son of Count Dirk III of Holland & West Friesland and Princess Otelhild of Saxony. He died on 28 Jun 1061 in (murdered) Near Nederhemert, Gelderland, Netherlands .
