Carlo I of Naples - was born in 1227 and died in 1285 .
He was the son of King Louis VIII "Le Lion" of France and Blanche of Castile.
Carlo - king of Naples and Sicily (1266–85), count of Anjou and Provence, youngest brother of King Louis IX of France. He took part in Louis’s crusades to Egypt (1248) and Tunisia (1270). After obtaining Provence by marriage (1246), he extended his influence into Piedmont. He became senator of Rome (1263, 1265–78) and undertook to champion the papal cause against Manfred in the kingdom of Naples and Sicily. In reward, he was crowned king (1266) by Pope Clement IV. The posthumous son of King Louis Viii of France, Charles I (1227-1285) was created count of Anjou by his elder brother King Louis Ix in 1246, founding the second Angevin dynasty. In 1266 Charles was invested by Pope Clement Iv with the kingship of Naples and Sicily, in return for expelling Manfred?, son of Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II.

King Carlo II "the Lame" of Naples - was born in 1254 in Naples, Sicily and died on 5 May 1309 .
He was the son of Carlo I of Naples.
King Carlo married Princess Maria of Hungary. Princess Maria was born about 1258, lived in Budapest, Hungary. She died on 25 Mar 1323 . King Carlo - King of Naples (1285–1309), count of Anjou and Provence, son and successor of Charles I. In the war of the Sicilian Vespers between Charles I and Peter III of Aragón for possession of Sicily, Charles was captured (1284) in a naval battle by the Aragonese.
