Duke Welf of Bavaria I - also known as: Welf I - was born about 0776, lived in Altdorf, Bavaria and died about 0830 . He was the son of Duke Ruthardus of Fruili. Duke Welf married Duchess Hedwig of Bavaria. Duchess Hedwig was born about 0780, lived in Bavaria. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Princess Judith of Bavaria was born about 0800, lived in Altdorf, Bavaria and died on 19 Apr 0843 in Tours, Neustria . Princess Judith married Emporer Louis I "The Pious" of Roman Empire Feb 0818/0819. Emporer Louis was born Aug 0778 in Casseneuil, France. He was the son of Emporer Charles Charlemagne and Empress Hildegard of Savoy. He died on 20 Jun 0840 in Mainz, Germany . See Charlemagne family for children.
