Joan was born about 1559. She died in 1610 . Dr. Thomas Lord - was born in 1586 in Towcester, Northampton, England and died in 1667 in Hartford, CT . He was the son of Richard Lord. Dr. Thomas married Dorothy Bird on 23 Feb 1610/1611 in Towcester, Northampton, England. Dorothy was born on 25 May 1588 in Towcester, North Hampton, England. She was the daughter of Robert Bird. She died on 2 Aug 1676 in Hartford, CT . (Sources: - 2) Dr. Thomas - They with their 7 children left from London for America April 29,1635, on the ship "Elizabeth & Ann". They were in Boston or Cambridge, Mass. about a year, then joined the "Hooker Party" in 1636 and were the original settlers of Hartford Conn. Thomas Lord's name is on the Founders Monument. All Descents from then to to now are entitled to membership in the "FOUNDERS OF HARTFORD" (Sources: - 1) Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Dorothy Lord was chr. on 1 Jul 1629 and died on 3 Jan 1657 in Northampton, Mass. . Dorothy married John Ingersoll (2) about 1651. John was born Sep 1626 in Bedfordshire, England. He was the son of Thomas Inkersall and Margery Eaton. He died on 3 Sep 1684 in Westfield, Mass. . Dorothy - came to America with her parents and joined them when they settled in Hartford, Conn. See Ingersoll family for children. ii.  Capt. Richard Lord was born on 15 Nov 1611 in Towcester, North Hampton, England and died on 17 May 1662 in New London, Hartford, Ct . Richard married Sarah Graves. Sarah was born in 1615. Capt. Richard - was a citizen of Cambridge, MA in 1632, and Hartford, CT in 1636. Deputy (Hartford) to Conn. Leg., Feb. 1657 - May 1661. Captain, Conn. Col. Troop, March 1658. Patentee - Royal Charter of Connecticut from Charles II of England, 1662. One of the twelve appointed Assistants of said Company established in the Royal Charter from Charles II in 1662. Richard married Mary Smith on 15 Apr 1665 in Springfield, Hampden, MA. Mary was born on 7 Mar 1643 in MA. She was the daughter of Henry Smith and Anna Pynchon. She died in 1702 . She died on 1 Jan 1754 in Farmington, Ct. . Richard - Secretary of the Colony of Connecticut, 1711/12. (Con. Col. V, 298) Justice, 1708, 1709,1710, 1711. (Conn. Col.
