Count Siegfried von Sponheim - was born about 1000 in Sponheim, Rhineland and died on 5 Jul 1065 in Bulgaria . He was the son of Count Eberhard Loeben. Count Siegfried married Richardis Lavent before 1023. Richardis was born about 1000. She was the daughter of Count Engelbert Pusterhal and Luitgard Istria. She died after 9 Jul 1064 . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Count Engelbert I of Lavanthal was born before 1045, lived in Karnten, Austria and died on 1 Apr 1096 . See #4. below.

Count Engelbert I of Lavanthal - was born before 1045, lived in Karnten, Austria and died on 1 Apr 1096 . He was the son of Count Siegfried von Sponheim and Richardis Lavent. Count Engelbert married Hedwig Filmsbach before 1075. Hedwig was born about 1040, lived in Sulzbach, Oberpfalz, Bavaria. She was the daughter of Bernard von Filmsbach. She died after 1100 . Duke Engelbert II von Sponheim - was born about 1065, lived in Karnten, Austria and died on 13 Apr 1141 in Sean . He was the son of Count Engelbert I of Lavanthal and Hedwig Filmsbach. Duke Engelbert married Uta von Passau in 1105. Uta was born about 1085, lived in Sulbach, Ober Pflaz, Bavaria. She was the daughter of Count Ulrich Passau and Adelaide Frantenhausen. She died in Sean . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Princess Mathilde of Carinthia was born about 1107, lived in Karnten, Austria and died on 13 Dec 1160 in Fontevault, France . Princess Mathilde married Count Theobald II Blois about 1122. Count Theobald was born about 1090 in Blois, Loir-et-Cher, France. He was the son of Count Stephen "le Sage" Blois and Princess Adaele of England. He died on 8 Oct 1152 in Ligny . See Blois family for children.
