Richard Ibrook - was born about 1580 in Southwold, Suffolk, England and died on 4 Nov 1651 in Hingham, Mass. . Richard married Margaret Clark. Margaret was born in 1589 in Wymondham, England. She died on 4 Apr 1664 in Hingham, MA . Richard - came to New England in 1635 and settled at Hingham.   Granted an Island in the Harbor in 1647. Granted four acres of land in Hingham on Broad Cove (later Lincoln Street) in 1635.   Richard was bailiff of Southwold in 1614, 1624, and 1635.   "Richard, whose name appears among the settlers of Hing. in 1635, had the same yr. a grant of land containing four acres on Broad Cover (Lincoln) St., which adjoined the lots granted to John Plamer, William Cockerum, or Cockram, and Rev. Peter Hobart." from Massachusetts Pioneers - IBROOK   Richard, Hingham, propr. 1635, in connection with William Cockraine, Sen., his son-in-law. Before Gen. Court 5 (1) 1638-9. Ch. Rebecca, (m. Mr. Peter Hobart, widower, and d. 7 (7) 1693, ae. 72 years,) Ellen, (m. at Cambridge, March, 1638, Capt. Joshua Hobart,) Margaret, (m. at Charlestown, Feb. 13, 1638-9, John Tower of Hing.). Hob.   He d. Nor. 14, 1651.   Robert, who, at Southold, Eng., March 25, 1657, witnessed a deed of Wm. Cock-raine, Suff. De. I, 62, may be supposed to be a relation of the above. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  John Ibrook was born in 1607 and died in 1607 . ii.  Elizabeth Ibrook was born in 1608. iii.  Christian Ibrook was born in 1611. iv.  Rebecca Ibrook was born in 1621 in England and died on 9 Sep 1693 in Hingham, Mass. . Rebecca married Rev. Peter Hobart in 1638. Rev. Peter was born about 1610. He is the son of Mr. Hobart. Rebecca - was his Peter's second wife. v.  Thomas Ibrook was born in 1615. vi.  Anne Ibrook was born in 1617. vii.  Margaret Ibrook was born on 3 Sep 1620 in Southwold, Suffolk Co, England and died on 15 May 1700 in Hingham, Mass. . Margaret married John Tower on 16 Feb 1639 in Hingham, Plymouth Co., Mass.. John was born in Hingham, England. He was the son of Robert Tower and Dorothy Damon. He died on 13 Feb 1701/1702 . Margaret - moved to Hingham, Mass with her family about 1635. See Tower family for children. viii.  Ellen Ibrook was born in 1622 in England and died in 1700 . Ellen married Joshua Hobart in 1638. Joshua was born about 1610. He is the son of Mr. Hobart. Ellen - married in 1638 - the brother of Rev. Peter Hobart. ix.  Matthew Ibrook was born in 1626.
