John Harmon - was born about 1650 and died about 1695 in York, York Co., ME .
He was the son of James Harmon and Sarah Clark.
John married Deborah Johnson. She is the daughter of Edward Johnson. Deborah - her first husband was the son of Richard and Susanna (Boynthon) Foxwell. (Sources: - 2 - 3) John - In a list of rates paid by the inhabitants of Saco, in 1670, Harmon paid 16 s. John Harmon was one of the few persons in Saco who owned horses in 1674. Carriages were unknown. On July 28, 1674, Richard Cummings, John Harmon, and others with their horses were allowed use of Humphrey Scammon's ferry, near the mouth of Saco river. In a list of the inhabitants of Saco, dated July 5, 1653, no Harmons appear. Source: Harmon Genealogy Comprising All Branches in New England. Page 138

Col. Johnson Harmon Sr - was born about 1675 and died on 17 Apr 1751 .
He was the son of John Harmon and Deborah Johnson.
Col. Johnson married Mary Moulton in 1702. Mary was born on 14 Jan 1681/1682 in York, York Co., ME. She is the daughter of Jeremiah Moulton and Mary Young. Col. Johnson - was a noted Indian fighter of Maine. He led the expedition against the Indians at Norridgewock, in 1724, which as victorious. Soon after he was commissioned a colonel, bu the Colonial Government. He was a representative to the General COurt of Mass., and Legislature of Maine, in 1727, He settled in Harpswell in 1727, but did not live there long. In 1737 he was living in Merriconeag Neck with his daughter.

Col. Johnson Harmon Jr - was born on 2 Jul 1710 in York, York Co., ME and died about 1735 .
He was the son of Col. Johnson Harmon Sr and Mary Moulton.
Col. Johnson married Deborah Harmon. Deborah was born on 10 Mar 1707/1708 in York, York Co., ME. Deborah - parbabke married Henry Simpson after Johnson died. (Sources: - 4 - 2) Col. Johnson - married his first cousin. He was on the muster roll of Capt. Johnson Harmon's company with Zebulon Harmon, Ensign, from Feb 28, 1721 to Nov 20, 1722, fighting the Indians about York.
