Arthur Ervots - was born about 1560.
Arthur married Margaret Lortis on 30 Apr 1581 in Watford. (Sources: - 1) Arthur - was one of three brothers who founded the Evarts line. The other two were John Evatte and Thomas Evaiyet. (Sources: - 1)

William Evarts - was born in 1569/1570 in Tortworth, Gloucestershire, England and died in Hertfordshire, England .
He was the son of Arthur Ervots and Margaret Lortis.
William married Sarah Everhard in 1593. Sarah was born about 1574 in Hertford, England. She died in Hertford, England . Sarah - inherited an interest in the Everhard estate of Hertfordshire. The Everhards were closely connected by marriage with the famous Hicks family who bore coats of arms and descended from Sir Ellis Hicks who was Knighted by Edward the Black Prince at the battle of Poictiers, Sept. 19, 1356. John Evarts - was born in 1601 in Hertfordshire, England and died on 9 May 1669 in Guilford, NewHaven, CT .
He was the son of William Evarts and Sarah Everhard.
John married Elizabeth Heyden on 5 Nov 1626 in Watford, England. Elizabeth was born about 1614 in Concord, MA. She died Jan 1683 in Guilford, NewHaven, CT . Elizabeth - was the widow of Daniel Bradley, whom she married in 1653 at New Haven. Her maiden name may have been Sheaffe but this has not been proven. Then John married Elizabeth Bradley on 27 May 1663. She died Jan 1683 . Elizabeth -
John - Iin about 1650 he removed to Guilford, CT where he was an admitted planter. There is a bit of confusion about which children were born to John in Watford, England, and which after he moved to Concord, Mass about 1637. This genealogy is based on the research of Basil R. Streeten in 1992.;

He was the son of John Evarts and Elizabeth Heyden.
James married Lydia Goodrich on 14 Jan 1660 in Guilford, New Haven, CT. Lydia was born about 1644 in Guilford, New Haven, CT. She is the daughter of Richard Goodrich.

John married Sarah Crampton on 23 Oct 1688 in Guilford, New Haver, CT. Sarah was born on 17 Dec 1669 in Guilford, New Haven, CT. She is the daughter of Dennis Crampton and Sarah Hall.

Patience Evarts - was born on 2 May 1695 in Guilford, New Haven, CT and died on 24 Apr 1770 in Coventry, Conn. .
She was the daughter of John Evarts and Sarah Crampton.
Patience married Benjamin Jones Sr.. Benjamin was born in 1696 in Pascommuck, Conn.. He was the son of Benoni Jones and Hester Ingersoll. He died on 1 Feb 1783 in Coventry, Conn and was buried in Samsfield . Benjamin - Scalped and left for dead in the Pascomunch Massacre May 13, 1704. The only survivor of the family. He barely escaped death which took the lives of his father and two brothers. After the massacre, when his father and two brothers were killed and his mother taken a captive, he appears to have removed with the Janes family to Coventry, Connecticut. Benjamin Janes, with whom he went, was son of the immigrant William Janes or Jeanes, who was a school teacher at New Haven, He was a "fence viewer" in 1731, on a commision, also to "call the people to the Hall" in 1731. His date of death is listed as February 1, 1783, age 87 according to a monument in the Beech Plain Cemetary in Sandisfield, MA. Then Patience married Daniel Hobart. Then Patience married Ibrook Tower on 6 Aug 1712. Ibrook was born in Hingham, Mass.. He was the son of John Tower and Margaret Ibrook. He died on 22 Nov 1731 in Cohassset, Mass. . Ibrook - Margaret and Ibrook had 12 children In addition to agricultural pursuits, he was also a cooper. Patience - - after Benjamin, Patience also married Daniel Hobart and then in 1712, she married Ibrook Tower.
