Anders Andersson - Anders married Inga Kasja Andersdotter. Inga was born on 20 Aug 1818 in Torestorp. She died on 1 Aug 1882 in Alkulla parish in Alvesborg province . (Sources: - 1 (April 2010) ) Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Anders Andersson was born on 28 Aug 1840 and died Dec 1888 in USA . Anders - came ti the USA from Sweden on Mar 1, 1880. Came to Portland CT first, and later moved to New Britain, CT.   We was said to be the sixth generation of sons with the same name (direct descendents) ii.  Johannes Andersson was born Mar 1843. iii.  Erik Magnus Andersson was born on 15 Feb 1849 in Sweden and died in 1934 . See #2. below. iv.  Bengt Carl Andersson was born on 7 Jul 1852. v.  Abraham Andersson was born on 11 Nov 1855. Abraham - : Abraham Andersson came to America and went to Colorado to work in a silver mine, possibly Cripple Creek. He died in a mine explosion. According to family accounts, some dynamite caught fire and he threw himself on it, saving the life of another. Other accounts indicate they may have been using the carbide lanterns they wore on their hats to thaw the dynamite. Erik Magnus Andersson - was born on 15 Feb 1849 in Sweden and died in 1934 . He was the son of Anders Andersson and Inga Kasja Andersdotter. Erik married Johanna Stina Svensdotter. Johanna was born in 1844 in Sweden. She died in 1928 . Selma - married Per Johan Andersson in Sweden Daughter Judit - born 1921   Judit married Hugo Sjostrom and had 4 children: Agneta (husband Tommy) who together run a law office where they live in Gothenburg and one in Trollhattan. They have 6 children, 3 each from previous marriages, born 1972-1981. They now have two grandchildren, Kajsa and Morgan. Iris worked for many years for Ericsson Electronics. She has two children, Anders and Karin. Anders lives in Stockholm, and Karin lives with her husband and two daughters outside Kungsbacka. Kent lives in Skane with his wife Eva. They have two sone, Lukas and Gustaf. Kent's specialty is physical movement in theater, and he was the first to defend a dissertation in Sweden within his field. Eva is the principal of a high school in Hhelsingborg. Jimmy is married to Lillibeth, from the Philippines, and they live in Boras, both of them having a background in computer technology. Johan Emil Eriksson - was born on 9 Oct 1873 in Alekulla, Sweden and died on 25 Oct 1970 in New Britain, CT . He was the son of Erik Magnus Andersson and Johanna Stina Svensdotter. Johan married Jenny Josefina Carlsen on 8 Jun 1907. Jenny was born on 6 Dec 1884 in in Landskrona, Sweden. She was the daughter of Capt. Johan August Carlsen and Augusta Kristina Johanson. She died on 25 Aug 1950 in New Britain, CT . Oscar Walter Erikson - was born on 14 Feb 1909 in New Britain, Conn and died on 13 Feb 1986 in Indianapolis, Ind. . He was the son of Johan Emil Eriksson and Jenny Josefina Carlsen. Oscar married Dorothy Helen Ferguson on 23 Sep 1937. Dorothy was born on 19 Jul 1913 in Cincinnati, Oh. She was the daughter of Edward James Ferguson and Augusta Ignatius. She died on 22 Jun 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana . Dorothy - had an Aunt Helen Braun in Cincinnati., Had an Uncle Frank, a Cousin Walter   Was in a hospital for tuberculosis about 1932.   ""My maternal great-great grandmother emigrated here from Germany. Her husband was Baron von Vetsenstein. We didn't hear much about her bascause she fell in love with someone else, but the Baron let her have a divorce. Her husband played violin in the court." Jon Edward Erikson - was born on 7 Nov 1941 in Indianapolis, Ind. and died on 14 Sep 2005 in Denver, Colorado . He was the son of Oscar Walter Erikson and Dorothy Helen Ferguson. Jon married Susan May Kimball on 24 Aug 1963 in Indianapolis, Ind.. Susan was born on 2 Jun 1944 in Cheyenne, Wy. She is the daughter of Paul Earle Kimball and Dorothy Adams Johnston. Jon - occupation: Computer Programmer - Started out with IBM as a typewriter repair-person, worked with Cecil Effinger (the composer) for a while building musical typewriters, then returned to IBM where he became a programmer.   Jon was big on Dog Sled racing in the late 1960's and early 1970's. Played the tuba and bass for many years, then later moved to a baritone horn.   Attended Jordan School of Music in Indianapolis.   Left IBM in 1992 to become a manager of Software Testing. Jon Edward Erikson   Nov. 7, 1941 — Sept. 14, 2005   Jon Edward Erikson, of Longmont, formerly of Boulder, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, in Denver, of complications from cancer surgery. He was 63.   He was born Nov. 7, 1941, in Indianapolis to Oscar Erikson and Dorothy Ferguson Erikson. He married Susie Kimball on Aug. 24, 1963, in Indianapolis.   Mr. Erikson worked for IBM for 23 years and Sybase for 10 years. He was a musician in the Denver metropolitan area for 35 years. He was a student at Gestalt Institute of the Rockies. He lived in Boulder from 1968 to 1985 and in Longmont since 1987.   "This is a great loss to our family and our community," his family said.   Survivors include his wife, of Longmont; a daughter, Michelle L. Dean, of Middletown, Md.; a son, David B. Erikson, of Longmont; a brother, Robert J. Erikson, of Indianapolis; and two granddaughters.   A memorial servicewill be at 3 p.m. Monday at Crist Mortuary Chapel, 3395 Penrose Place, in Boulder. The Rev. Bill Youngblood will officiate.   Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Michelle married Charles Scott Dean on 6 Jun 1987 in Damascus, Md.. Charles was born on 6 Mar 1959 in Olney, Md.. He is the son of Stan Dean and Fay Mulligan. See Dean family for children. ii.  David Bryan Erikson was born on 23 Nov 1968 in Colorado Springs, Colo.. David - Graphics Artist in Minneapolis in 1995.

Robert James Erikson - was born on 17 Dec 1945 in Indianapolis, Ind.. He is the son of Oscar Walter Erikson and Dorothy Helen Ferguson. Robert married Meg Elise Woods on 4 Aug 1973. Robert - occupation: Architect - graduated from Miami of Ohio in Architecture. Served two deployments in Vietnam. He was a recipient of the Navy Commendation Medal.   2010:: "Robert Erikson, AIA, CSI, is a Senior Associate with CSO Architects in Indianapolis, where he has worked for 21 years. He was President of the Indianapolis Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in 1980 and later served for nine years on the AIA Contract Documents Committee and for five years on the AIA Risk Management Committee."   -Navy.jpg Photo from service in U.S. Navy Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Mary Elise Erikson was born on 16 Dec 1977 in Indianapolis, In. Mary married Robert Christopher Barrett on 13 Jul 2002. He is the son of Charles David Barrett and Sally Gay Cross. Mary - Hancock County, Indiana Marriage Applications 2002   May 31. Robert Christopher Barrett, 28, 142 McKee Drive Blacksburg, Cherokee SC, and Mary Elise Erikson, 24, 4353 S. Creekside Dr., New Palestine, applied to marry in the office of the Hancock County Clerk. Mr. Barrett is the child of Charles David Barrett and Sally Gay Cross and Mrs. Erikson is the child of Robert James Erikson and Margaret Elise Woods.   Wrote "What Was Lost" September 2010   A United Methodist pastor married to a United Methodist pastor, Elise is a native of Indianapolis who has been transplanted, surprisingly happily, to South Carolina. She holds degrees from Hanover College and Duke Divinity School, and spends most of her time caring for her two small daughters. While on family leave from full-time ministry, Elise continues to speak and lead retreats and other special events around the state, and has been grateful for the opportunity to write her first book.
