Herbert de Orreby - was born about 1140, lived in Orby, Lincs, England. He is the son of Alard de Orreby. Herbert married Agnes FitzWilliam. Agnes was born about 1140, lived in Kyme, Lincs, England. She is the daughter of Simon FitzWilliam II and Agnes de Lindsey. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  John de Orreby was born about 1170, lived in Orby, Lincs, England. See #3. below. ii.  Phillip de Orreby was born about 1160 in Alvanley, Justiciar of Chester, England and died about 1230 . See #4. below.

John de Orreby - was born about 1170, lived in Orby, Lincs, England. He is the son of Herbert de Orreby and Agnes FitzWilliam. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Alice Orreby was born about 1221, lived in Orby, Lincs, England. Alice married Robert de Willoughby. Robert was born about 1217. He was the son of William de Willoughby and Matilda de Fultby. He died in 1256/1258 . See Willoughby family for children.

Phillip de Orreby - was born about 1160 in Alvanley, Justiciar of Chester, England and died about 1230 . He was the son of Herbert de Orreby and Agnes FitzWilliam. Phillip married Emma de Coventry.   Then Phillip married Alice Bamville. Alice - dauhgter of Sir Thomasde Bamville of Storeton. Phillip - - Justice of Chester 1209. Children with Emma de Coventry (Quick Family Chart) i.  Phillip de Orreby was born about 1200 in England and died before 1230 . See #5. below. Children with Alice Bamville (Quick Family Chart) ii.  Fulk de Orreby was born about 1234 in Hatherton,Cheshire,England. See #6. below.

Phillip de Orreby - was born about 1200 in England and died before 1230 . He was the son of Phillip de Orreby and Emma de Coventry. Phillip married Leuca de Mohut about 1220. Leuca was born about 1196. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Clemence de Orreby was born about 1221 in England. See #7. below. ii.  Agnes de Orreby was born about 1220, lived in Alwanly,Cheshire,England.

Fulk de Orreby - was born about 1234 in Hatherton,Cheshire,England. He is the son of Phillip de Orreby and Alice Bamville. Fulk married Matilda le Strange. Matilda was born about 1235. Fulk - - Chief Justice of Chester. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Alice Orreby was born about 1250. Alice married Peter Corbet. Peter was born about 1229 in Caus Castle,Shropshire,England. He was the son of Sir Thomas Corbet and Isabel de Valletort. He died before 10 Aug 1300 . See Corbet family for children.

Clemence de Orreby - was born about 1221 in England. She is the daughter of Phillip de Orreby and Leuca de Mohut. Clemence married Robert de Banastre in 1237 in Chester, Cheshire, England. Robert was born about 1217 in Newton De Willows, Makefield, Lancashire, England. He is the son of Thurston Banastre. Children: i.  Robert Banastre de Banastre was born about 1241 in Chester, Cheshire, England and died in 1261 in Cuerden, Lancashire, England . See #8. below.

Robert Banastre de Banastre - was born about 1241 in Chester, Cheshire, England and died in 1261 in Cuerden, Lancashire, England . He was the son of Robert de Banastre and Clemence de Orreby. Robert married Alice Woodcock. Alice was born about 1241 in Cuerden, Lancashire, England. She is the daughter of Gilbert Woodcock. Robert - question from reader   Web: Hi, I'm doing some genealogy and stumbled upon your website ( http://www.renderplus.com/hartge n/htm/de-orreby.htm). I have a comment/possible error on the 6th and 7th generation: Robert Banastre de Banastre and Clemence de Banastre. It says Robert was Clemence's father, but he was 'born' a year before she was. Just wanted to let you know and inquire about it.   --- I looked around on Ancestry.com and no one has better dates.   We often put in these "About" dates to give some idea of which century someone was born in. But eventually you come up with inconsistencies. For instance, one source shows Robert born in 1221 which works better, but shows roberts father born in 1216.   So I can;t see anything exact enough to make any changes. Children: i.  Clemence de Banastre was born about 1240 in Mollington, Banastre, Cheshire, England and died in 1298 . See #9. below.

Clemence married William Del Lee. William was born about 1237 in Amounderness, Lancashire, England. Children: i.  Sibyll Del Lee was born about 1263 in Mollington, Banastre, Cheshire, England. See #10. below.

Sibyll Del Lee - was born about 1263 in Mollington, Banastre, Cheshire, England. She is the daughter of William Del Lee and Clemence de Banastre. Sibyll married Richard Houghton about 1307 in England. Richard was born about 1260, lived in Mollington, Banastre, Cheshire, England. He was the son of Adam Houghton and Aurelia Howick. He died about 1340/1341 . Children: i.  Katherine de Houghton was born about 1310, lived in Houghton, Lancashire, England. Katherine married Hugh de Venables about 1338. Hugh was born in 1296, lived in Kinderton, Cheshire, England. He was the son of Hugh de Venables and Agatha Vernon. He died in 1368 . See de Venables family for children.
