Aubrey de Mello - was born about 1080 in Mello, Oise, France. He is the son of Baron Gilbert de Mello. Aubrey married Aelis de Dammartin about 1104. Aelis was born about 1084 in Dammartin-En-Goele, Seine-Et-Marne, France. She is the daughter of Count Hugues de Dammartin and Countess Roaide of Bulles. Count Alberic I de Dammartin - was born in 1110 in Dammartin, Seine-Et-Marne, France and died in 1183 . He was the son of Aubrey de Mello and Aelis de Dammartin. Count Alberic married Joan Bassett before 1150. Joan was born about 1114 in Wellingford, Oxfordshire, England. Count Aubrey II de Dammartin - also known as: Alberic - was born about 1135 in Dammartin, Seine-Et-Marne, France and died on 19 Sep 1200 in London, Middlesex, England and was buried in Abbaye de Jumieges, Jumieges, Seine-Maritime, France . He was the son of Count Alberic I de Dammartin and Joan Bassett. Count Aubrey married Mathilda de Ponthieu before 1180. Mathilda was born about 1138 in Ponthieu, Ain, France. She was the daughter of Count Renaud II of Clermont-En-Beauvaisis and Clemence of Bar-Le-Duc. She died after Oct 1200 . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Count Simon II de Dammartin was born about 1180 in Dammartin, Seine-Et-Marne, France and died on 21 Sep 1239 in Abbeville, Somme, France . He was the son of Count Aubrey II de Dammartin and Mathilda de Ponthieu. Count Simon married Countess Marie of Ponthieu & Montreuil about 1212 in Aumale, Seine-Maritme, France. Countess Marie was born on 17 Apr 1199 in Aumale, Seine-Maritme, France. She was the daughter of Count Guillaume III of Ponthieu and Princess Alix of France. She died Sep 1250 in Normandie . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Jeanne de Dammartin was born about 1216 in Dammartin, France and died on 15 Mar 1279 in Abbeville, France . Jeanne married King Fernando III "The Saint" of Castile and Leon in 1237 in Burgos, Burgos, spain. King Fernando was born on 5/10 Aug 1201 in Leon, Leon, Spain. He was the son of King Alfonso IX Fernandez of Leon and Castile and Queen Berengeula of Castile. He died on 30 May 1252 in Sevilla, Sevilla, Spain . See Aldalbert family for children.
