Robert Blount - was born about 1197, lived in Ixworth, Suffolk, England and died in 1288 . Robert married Isabel Odingsells about 1228 while living in Belton, Rutland, England. Isabel was born about 1202, lived in Belton, Rutland, England. William Blount - was born about 1223, lived in Belton, Rutland, England and died in 1316 while living in Timberlake, Worcestershire, England . He was the son of Robert Blount and Isabel Odingsells. William married Isabel de Beauchamp about 1261 while living in Belton, Rutland, England. Isabel was born about 1252, lived in Warwick, Warwickshire, England. She was the daughter of William de Beauchamp and Maud Fitzgeoffrey. She died about 30 May 1306 in Emley Castle, Worcestershire, England . William - was accused, with his brother Walter, in Aug. 1265, before the commissioners appointed under the Dictum of Kenilworth, of unlawful violence at Quinton, Northants. Tradition says that his wife Isabel was a Beauchamp. The record of the assizes held at Worcester, 1275, contains several references to William le Blund. Sir Walter Blount - was born about 1270, lived in Rock, Worcestershire, England and died in 1315/1316 . He was the son of William Blount and Isabel de Beauchamp. Sir Walter married Johanna de Sodington before 1294 while living in Sodington, Worcestershire, England. Johanna was born about 1274, lived in Sodington, Worcestershire, England. She was the daughter of William de Sodington. She died about 1331 . Sir Walter - was in 1313 of the Lancastrian party against Gavaston. In 1318 and 1321 he was Knight of the Shire for Worcester, and in 1322 was summoned for personal service against the Scots. Sir John Blount - was born about 1298, lived in Sodington, Worcestershire, England and died in 1358 . He was the son of Sir Walter Blount and Johanna de Sodington. Sir John married Isoude of Mountjoy about 1347 while living in Sodington, Worcestershire, England. Isoude - The mystery of her parentage has not been solved. The release by John le Blount in 1374 to his brother Walter of all his rights in lands in Gayton, Yeldersley, Brushfield, &c. (Croke, op. cit., vol. ii, p. 171), which were Mountjoy manors in the 13th and 14th centuries (Jeayes, Derbyshire Charters, no. 1608, et seq.), suggests that a portion of the Mountjoy estates had descended by inheritance to John, then eldest surviving son of John le Blount and Isoude. It was a portion only, because (i) Gayton and Yeldersley, &c, descended through the marriage of Isoude (da. and h. of Serle de Mountjoy, s. and h. of Ralph de Mountjoy) to Robert de Ireland (Plac. de Quo Warranto, p. 155); the family of Ireland were still holding temp. Henr VII (Feudal Aids, vol. i, p. 250 et seq.; Jeayes, op. cit., no 2731); (ii) the receipt given by Madam Wake in 1359 for evidences belonging to Richard Blount, the young heir of John and Isoude, refers to vint oyt feetes en un boist del heritage le mere le dit Richard et ses parceners des tenements en le Pek, &c. (Harl. MS. 6709, fo. 119 d). (Sources: - 1) Sir John - was in 1324 a practised soldier belonging to Worcestershire. In 1337, being then a knight, he was found heir to elder brother, Wiliam Blount Lord Blount. He was joint commissioner in Worcestershire in 1344, to inquire as to holders of land. He served in Gascony under Henry, Earl of Lancaster, and afterwards, 1347, under the King at the siege of Calais, till Edward's return to England. In Oct. 1350 he was undertaking a pilgrimage to Santiago. Walter Blount - was born about 1350, lived in Elwaston, Derbyshire, England and died on 22 Jun 1403 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England . He was the son of Sir John Blount and Isoude of Mountjoy. Walter married Sancha de Ayala about 1371 while living in Elwaston, Derbyshire, England. Sancha was born about 1360, lived in Toledo, New Castile, Spain. She was the daughter of Diego Gomez De Toledo and Inez Alfonsa de Ayala. She died in 1418 in Newark, Leicestershire, England . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Constance Blount was born after 1373 in Barton Blount, Derbyshire, England and died on 23 Sep 1432 in Northampton, England . Constance married Sir John de Sutton V before 1401 in Worcestershire, England. Sir John was born in 1380 in Coleshill, Warwick, England. He was the son of Sir John de Sutton IV and Alice Le Despencer. He died on 29 Aug 1406 in England . See de Sutton family for children.
