1.	Godfrey Barbatus - was born in 1060 in Brabant, Louvaine, France and died on 25 Jan 1139/1140 . Godfrey - - Count ofBrabant and Louvain . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Jocelin de Louvain died in 1180 . See #2. below.

Jocelin de Louvain - died in 1180 . He was the son of Godfrey Barbatus. Jocelin married Agnes de Percy. Agnes was born in 1134. She was the daughter of William de Percy and Alice de Tonbridge. She died in 1204 . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Sir Henry de Percy was born about 1145 and died in 1198 and was buried in Abbey at St Lo in Normandy . See #3. below. ii.  Richard de Percy was born about 1170 and died about 1244 . Richard - inherited from his aunt, the ''countess of Warwick," who died without issue, her share of the Percy heritage He was one of the first powerful lords to take up arms against King John in the cause of "a constitutional government," and was excommunicated. He died without issue about 1244.

Sir Henry de Percy - was born about 1145 and died in 1198 and was buried in Abbey at St Lo in Normandy . He was the son of Jocelin de Louvain and Agnes de Percy. Sir Henry - inherited the honour of Petworth from his father and other fees from his mother in Yorkshire. He took his mother's name. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  William de Percy was born about 1193 in Alnwick, Northumberlandshire, England and died before 28 Jul 1245 . See #4. below.

William de Percy - was born about 1193 in Alnwick, Northumberlandshire, England and died before 28 Jul 1245 . He was the son of Sir Henry de Percy. William married Eleanor de Baliol about 1234 in Red Castle, Augushire, Scotland. Eleanor was born about 1206 in Red Castle, Angushire, Scotland. She was the daughter of Lord Ingram de Baliol and Agnes de Berkeley. She died before 22 Nov 1281 . Eleanor - - The lands of Inverkeilor, or which Red Castle was built, were granted to Walter de Berkeley, the royal chamberlain of William the Lion. On Walter's death about 1194, the property passed, via his daughter, to the Balliol family - the probable builders of the first stone castle on the site. William - - 6th Baron de Percy.   He inherited the honour of Petworth from his father but he obtained a moiety only of the Percy Barony held by Maude his great aunt, the moiety of his grandmother Agnes passing to his Uncle Richard. He was granted the Manor of Spothforth. He later held the mesne tenures which had formed the maritagium of his ancestress Emma de Port. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Sir Henry de Percy was born about 1235 in Whitby, Yokshire, England and died on 29 Aug 1272 in Sallay Craven, Yorkshire, England . See #5. below.

Sir Henry de Percy - was born about 1235 in Whitby, Yokshire, England and died on 29 Aug 1272 in Sallay Craven, Yorkshire, England . He was the son of William de Percy and Eleanor de Baliol. Sir Henry married Eleanor Plantagenet on 8 Sep 1268 in York, Yorkshire, England. Eleanor was born about 1244 in Surrey, England. She died after 1282 . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Henry de Percy was born on 25 Mar 1273 in Petworth, Sussex, England and died on 2 Oct 1314 in Fountains Abbey, Yorkshire, England . See #6. below.

Henry married Baroness Eleanor FitzAlan about 1299 in Alnwick, Northumberlandshire, England. Baroness Eleanor was born about 1275, lived in Arundel, Essex, England. She was the daughter of John FitzAlan II and Isabella de Mortimer. She died Jul 1328 and was buried in Beverley, Yorkshire, England . Henry de Percy - was born on 6 Feb 1300/1301 in Leconfield, Yorkshire, England. He is the son of Henry de Percy and Baroness Eleanor FitzAlan. Henry married Idonea de Clifford in 1314 in Yorkshire, England. Idonea was born about 1300 in Appleby, Westmoreland, England. She was the daughter of Robert de Clifford and Maud de Clare. She died on 24 Aug 1365 . Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Maud de Percy was born about 1335 in Warkworth Castle, Alnwick, Northumberland, England and died on 18 Feb 1378/1379 . Maud married John Neville Jul 1357 in Alnwick, Northumberland, England. John was born in 1328 in Raby, Durham, England. He was the son of Ralph de Neville and Alice Audley. He died on 17 Oct 1388 in Newcastle, Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England . See de Neville family for children.
