Hawyse married Lord John de Cherleton. Lord John was born in 1277 in Powys Castle, Montgomeryshire, Wales. He died after Sep 1345 . Hawyse - Hawise, called "Gadarn" or "The Hardy"; b apparently 25 July 1290, Lady of Powis in her own right; being ancestress with her husband of the succeeding 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Lords Cherleton, the Barony falling into abeyance March 1420/1 on the death 'spm' of 5th Lord Cherleton, among whose daughters descendants any representation in the Barony may be held to exist.
