Matthew Allyn - was born about 1670. He is the son of Richard Allyn and Margaret Wyatt. Matthew married Margaret Wyatt. Margaret was born about 1670. Matthew - - his name is on the Founders Monument of Hartford, Ct.. Col. John Allyn - was born on 11 Nov 1696 in Hartford, Ct.. He is the son of Matthew Allyn and Margaret Wyatt. Col. John married Anna Smith. Anna was born on 9 Nov 1640 in England. She is the daughter of Henry Smith and Ann Pynchon. Children: (Quick Family Chart) i.  Anne Allyn was born on 18 Aug 1652 in Hartford, Ct. and died on 3 Mar 1735 in New Haven, Ct. . Anne married Joeph Whiting. Joeph was born on 2 Oct 1640 in Hartford, Ct.. He was the son of Maj. William Whiting and Susanna Wiggin. He died on 8 Oct 1717 in Hartford, Ct. .
